• The content of SMS messages and voicemails sent or received through the landlord’s Grapple Insights account.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and operate messaging tools that landlords use to communicate with their tenants.
• Deliver and store SMS messages and voicemails between landlords and tenants.
• Support landlord users, respond to issues, and improve the reliability and performance of the service.
• Maintain security, monitor for abuse, and comply with applicable laws and carrier requirements.

Messaging and SMS

Grapple Insights provides infrastructure that allows landlords and tenants to exchange SMS messages and voicemails with each other. In most cases, the landlord determines which tenants to contact, what messages are sent, and how long those messages are kept. We process those communications as a service provider to the landlord.

Any decision to contact a tenant by SMS (and any consent to receive those messages) is handled between the landlord and the tenant. Our service delivers and stores those messages on behalf of the landlord’s account and may surface them in tools like an inbox or automation features.

If you are a tenant and have questions about why you are receiving messages, or want to change how you are contacted, you should contact your landlord or property manager directly or use the opt‑out instructions included in their messages (for example, by replying STOP).

Sharing of Information

We do not sell or rent personal information or mobile numbers processed through Grapple Insights. We may share information with third parties only as needed to:

• Provide SMS, voice, hosting, and other infrastructure services.
• Support analytics, monitoring, and security for the platform.
• Comply with applicable laws, regulations, or valid legal requests.

Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect the information we process. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service to landlord accounts, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Message content may be retained in logs or message history as part of providing the service.

Your Choices

Landlord users can update certain account information by logging into their Grapple Insights account. Tenants who receive messages sent through Grapple Insights should contact their landlord or property manager to change contact details or communication preferences.

If you receive SMS messages via a landlord using Grapple Insights, you can typically opt out of further messages from that sender by following the instructions in the message (for example, by replying STOP), subject to any legal obligations your landlord may have to contact you.
